The West Dunbartonshire Council (Barratt / Advance Construction, Strathleven Housing Development, Strathleven Drive, Bonhill) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order 2016
West Dunbartonshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made the above named Order by reason of facilitating works by Barratt and their contractor Advance Construction to create a new roundabout junction on Stirling Road for access to a new housing development.
The Order will make it unlawful for any person to cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on the following sections of road (except for emergency service vehicles, vehicles taking local access where permitted by signs or under the direction of a traffic management contactor and vehicles engaged in authorised road occupations) between 09.30hrs on Monday, 17 October 2016 and 23.59hrs on Saturday, 31 December 2016:
Strathleven Drive, Bonhill, from its southern junction with Stirling Road to its junction with Lady's Gate. The restrictions may be applied in part or whole but can be implemented as required and where indicated by signs. Emergency Services should note that while access will be maintained, through traffic could be prevented by the works. Access will be maintained at all times for pedestrians. These restrictions are to provide suitable traffic management for the construction of the new roundabout junction. Additional traffic controls such as traffic management and temporary traffic signals will also be in use on Stirling Road. Restrictions will only be implemented in accordance with the agreed traffic management plan, kept to an absolute minimum to facilitate the works and maintain adjoining traffic flow and access. Diversion Routes. Will be signed and involve Stirling Road, the northern roundabout junction of Strathleven Drive and Strathleven Drive.
