A MAN has been arrested after an alleged break-in at a derelict building in Dumbarton.
Officers responded to the scene at the old Rialto Bingo Hall after the alarm was raised at around 3.20am on Thursday.
We previously reported that an outside area at the premises on College Street had been taped off by cops on Thursday morning.
Police confirmed a 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection.
An investigation into the alleged break-in remains ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers responded to a report of a break-in to a premises on College Street in Dumbarton at around 3.20am on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
“A 40-year-old man was arrested and enquiries remain ongoing.”
