MUSICAL children at a Dumbarton primary school are being given an opportunity to make their music as part of a new initiative.
Primary Five pupils at St Patrick's Primary School are taking part in a digital music workshop as part of the Music Motivator project.
The children work in pairs to make tunes on computer, using a programme called Ableton Live, where they choose sounds and rhythms from different genres and different countries and combine them to make their own tunes.
The children will then get the opportunity to use professional audio equipment to produce a CD of their own work.
