Dumbarton players returned to training on Saturday with another new face among the camp, after striker Mitch Megginson agreed to join the Sons. The former Aberdeen player, who spent time on loan at Arbroath, Brechin and Alloa during his time with the Dons, has signed a one year deal and will provide competition for strikers Garry Fleming and Bryan Prunty.
Also signing up with the Sons first team is young goalkeeper, Josh Lumsden.
The youngster from Helensburgh is the third player from the club's youth system to pen a professional contract this summer, following in the footsteps of Joe Coleman and Ally McKerracher.
With manager Ian Murray currently away on holiday, Saturday's first pre season session was taken by assistant manager Jack Ross, fitness coach, Colin McLelland and head of youth, Tony Gervaise.
