DUMBARTON-based YOUR Radio has welcomed the appointment of a new managing director.

Tracey McNellan, has worked in commercial radio for more than 20 years both in this area and most recently as managing director for Capital FM in Nottingham.

As managing director, Tracey will have overall responsibility for the station including programming, commercial strategy and will be tasked with overseeing and growing the station.

She is looking forward to the challenge ahead.

She told the Reporter: "I am excited to be back in Scotland and working with Romanes Media Group (RMG).

"This is an exciting time for YOUR Radio and I am looking forward to driving the growth of this well loved local radio station."

Graham Morrison, managing director of RMG, which owns YOUR Radio and the Reporter, added: "We are delighted to have Tracey on board. She has extensive experience in the media industry and is a trusted and familiar face in the business community in Scotland.

Your Radio broadcasts on 103 and 106.9 FM which serves Dumbarton and the Vale as well as the Firth of Clyde and Loch Lomondside.
