FIRE crews battled a car blaze on a busy stretch of the A82 this afternoon.
The fire broke out near the Arnold Clark service centre, Milton, just after midday.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said crews were sent the scene at 12.25pm to tackle the blaze.
One truck was dispatched and the fire was extinguished by 12.40pm.
An ambulance took two people to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley but their condition is unknown at the moment.
Local motorists reported slight delays on the A82 towards Dumbarton around the time of the incident.
