Dumbarton Academy
DUMBARTON Academy has closed early after a strong smell of gas was detected.
A statement from West Dunbartonshire Council read: "Dumbarton Academy is closing early due to a strong smell of gas.
"Parents of pupils are being asked to collect their children as soon as possible from the school.
"Staff will remain at the school to look after vulnerable pupils until they can be picked up or collected as normal."
