SCOTLAND’S animal welfare charity is urgently appealing to Dumbarton’s animal lovers to donate reusable face masks for its team.
The Scottish SPCA has been struggling to keep up with demand for disposable protective equipment so is asking the public to consider making them from tightly woven cotton.
Scottish SPCA deputy head of field operations, Graeme Innes said: “Please include your name and contact phone number or email address in your package. Everyone who makes a mask for us will be entered in to a prize draw to win an exclusive, private tour around our National Wildlife Rescue Centre.”
Finished masks can be sent to the Scottish SPCA at Fishcross, Alloa, FK10 3AN, from where they’ll be sent out to teams, including staff at the charity’s Milton centre.
