An Alexandria woman is appealing for readers to keep an eye out for her missing cat.
Rebecca Godwin, who lives in the Broomhill area of the town, is worried about her black and white cat after she went missing around two weeks ago.
She said: "I honestly can't even describe how horrendous these 10 days have been. Anyone that knows me will know how much she means to me.
"She is sorely missed and if I had one wish, it would be for her to come home safe for lots of cuddles and heat.
"I really need her home."
Lexi is microchipped and was last seen around lunchtime in the Broomhill area in Alexandria.
She is wearing a black collar, has a bushy tail and has four white paws.
The two-year old cat also has a tiny white line up the left side of her nose.
Her owner added: "It has been brought to my attention that people are taking cats away from their area and dropping them off miles away so social media really helps in these situations.
"I beg you to look out for her and please check sheds and garages."
If you have any idea where she might be or think you might have spotted her, message Rebecca Godwin on Facebook or email the Dumbarton Reporter at editorial@dumbartonreporter.co.uk.
