AN 11-YEAR-OLD girl was taken to hospital after suffering a leg injury on the shore of Loch Lomond at the weekend.
The Loch Lomond Rescue Boat was called out from its Luss base shortly after 3pm on Sunday to help the Scottish Ambulance Service rescue the girl on the shoreline north of Balloch Park.
The rescue boat’s crew transferred the girl and her parents to an ambulance waiting at the Duncan Mills Memorial Slipway.
The girl was taken from the slipway to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, and the boat and its crew returned to Luss.
