A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has sustained serious arm and head injuries after an assault at Balloch Country Park.
Detectives are appealing for information on the incident which took place next to the pier.
The incident happened around 5.40pm on Tuesday, June 29.. He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment for his injuries.
Detective Constable David Jamieson, of Dumbarton police office, said: “There were several groups of people around at the time of the incident and we would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
“If anyone has information, including mobile footage, that might help with our enquiries then please get in touch.”
