Balloch swimmer Ross Murdoch is through to the semi-final of the 200m breaststroke at the Olympics after qualifying through the heats.
The Balloch swimmer was in action at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre just after 11:40am today (Tuesday) in the heats for the 200 metres breaststroke – his favoured event and distance.
The 27-year-old former University of Stirling student finished in 2.09.95, a fast enough time to take him into the top 16 swimmers in the heats, and through into the semi finals.
The semi-finals are set to take place tomorrow morning, Wednesday, July 28 at 3.21am.
