A POPULAR Vale busker needs the community’s help after being nominated for two national music awards.
Teenager Alfie King, from Old Bonhill, is in the running to win Young Male Artist of the Year and Champion of the Year at the annual Country Gigs Scotland Awards.
The winners of each category are determined entirely by who receives the most votes, regardless of chart success or fame.
Earlier this year, the 13-year-old won two Young Scot awards after performing with pal Jack Mullen outside care homes in Dumbarton and the Vale early in the pandemic.
Votes must be submitted via the survey link on the Country Gigs Scotland Facebook page by no later than 5pm this Thursday, September 9.
