THE Cameron House Hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond will reopen to the public next week.
The hotel has undergone significant refurbishment since the devastating fire in December 2017 that claimed the lives of guests Simon Midgley and Richard Dyson and left the main building severely damaged.
The new-look hotel will offer 140 guest bedrooms, including 24 luxury suites.
New features include the Lobby Bar and the completely remodelled Cameron Leisure Club and The Tavern Bar.
The wider Cameron House Resort is also home to a spa and rooftop infinity pool, an 18-hole championship golf course, and a 234-berth marina.
Andy Roger, resort director at Cameron House, said: "We are very much looking forward to reopening on September 20, 2021, and excited to be able to share this glimpse of the hotel, which has been meticulously restored over the past three years.
"We’re enormously proud to be opening our doors once again, welcoming both our returning guests and new faces to our beautiful resort.
"Completely remodelled to the highest standards, guests can enjoy a truly luxurious experience while relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park."
Night porter Christopher O'Malley and the resort's owners pleaded guilty in December to the health and safety breaches that caused the fire.
Mr O'Malley was ordered to carry out unpaid work as a punishment, while Cameron House Resort (Loch Lomond) Limited was fined £500,000.
A fatal accident inquiry is to be held into the tragedy on a date yet to be announced.
The resort's owners secured planning permission in early 2020 for a £17.5million extension to the hotel, including a ballroom and 68 bedrooms.
