The generosity of people in Dumbarton can be seen outside a church in the town - where bags of essentials have been tied to a 'railing of care'.
St Patrick's Church in the town's Strathleven Place asked members of the public to donate jackets, coats, hats, scarves and gloves for those most in need in the local community.

Another user added: "Well done indeed, but still heartbreaking that it’s even required."
