SCOTTISH rugby legend Al Kellock will be the guest speaker at Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas lunch next month.
The former Scotland international and Glasgow Warriors captain, now managing director of the Scotstoun-based Warriors, is also co-owner of three businesses in Milngavie.
Now 40, Kellock won 56 Scotland caps between 2004 and 2013, and captained the Warriors to the Pro12 title in 2015.
Chamber chief executive Damon Scott said: “We are incredibly privileged that Al has made time in his busy schedule to join us at The Golden Jubilee for this important annual event.
“His mix of success in sport and business will make for a fascinating listening and our guests are already excited about the opportunity to meet such a popular Scottish personality.
“There is still plenty of time for businesses and individuals to get involved with this exciting event to support the Chamber and Golden Friendships. Anyone can book places – business or otherwise, make a donation, sponsor the event or donate a raffle prize.”
The event takes place at the Golden Jubilee Hotel in Clydebank on Thursday, December 16 and will support the Golden Friendships charity’s work tackling social isolation among the area’s older residents.
