LOCH Lomond's status as a top spot for stargazing is well known to locals - but it's now been ranked as the very best in Scotland and one of the best in the UK.
The beauty spot ranked third, tied with Lindisfarne Castle on the Northumberland coast, with a stargazing quality score of 95.26 out of 100.
The announcement comes after the figures were revealed by The Dozy Owl, who commissioned the data.
The activity is a great option for those looking to do something a little bit different this Valentine's Day.
