Loch Lomond Rescue boat was called out twice a matter of hours last night.
On their Facebook page they said that the crew were paged by police yesterday (February 20) at around 5.40pm after receiving reports of a jet ski failing to return, leaving people in the water in the area between Ross Priory and Balmaha.
Along with crew, a coastguard helicopter was deployed and made its way to the location. They were then advised that the people were able to swim to shore, so stood down and returned to base.
However, just as the crew returned to base a second call came in with reports of a vulnerable person within the vicinity of the shoreline in Tarbert area of west coast Loch Lomond .
The crew once again made way to the location and a shoreline search was carried out down to Firkin Point with nothing observed.
Loch Lomond Rescue Boat stood down and returned to base.
