PUPILS from Bonhill Primary School transformed into their favourite characters from books to mark a national celebration of literature.
Wizards – inspired by the phenomenally successful Harry Potter series – joined characters including Cruella de Vil and the classic Little Red Riding Hood in classrooms across the school to show their support for the day.
World Book Day, on March 3, was the 25th anniversary of the event, which promotes reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own.
