A MAN and woman have been taken to hospital after a crash in Dumbarton East.
Police Scotland confirmed that the two-vehicle crash which happened around 5pm today (July 18) involved a van and a bus on Glasgow Road.
The 46-year-old driver of rhe van was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhle, one of the passengers on the bus has been taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for checks.
The road between Victoria Street and Wallace Street remains closed as cops attend the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received report of a two-vehicle crash, involving a bus and a van, on Glasgow Road in Dumbarton shortly before 5pm on Monday, 18 July, 2022.
“The 46-year-old male driver of the van has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
"One of the female passengers on the bus has been taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley as a precaution.
“The road is closed between Victoria Street and Wallace Street.”
