Dumbarton Road police officers stopped the van in the town this morning (August 4)
A VAN was stopped this morning in Dumbarton for allegedly carrying over its maximum weight.
Officers from Dumbarton's Road police reportedly stopped the van this morning (August 4) as it was found to be 20 per cent over its maximum permitted weight.

After they announced it on their social media pages, a spokesperson said: "Van drivers please watch your load weight."

The driver was reported to the procurator fiscal for the offence.
