DUMBARTON and the Vale’s sci-fi and comic book fans dressed as their favourite characters for a busy convention by the loch at the weekend.
Hosted by Big Glasgow Comic Page (BGCP), the BGCP Comic Con travelled to Loch Lomond Shores and brought together comic book lovers from across the area on Saturday and Sunday.
Actors in Star Wars costumes were joined by anime and comic book characters such as Iron Man, Catwoman, Bumblebee and Spider-Man to have fun and celebrate.
During the weekend there were plenty of stalls with lots of great memorabilia, artwork and souvenirs to take home, from comics, graphic novels, signed and graded books, art, Funko Pops, props, action figures, as well as special comic guest writers and artists.
And for those younger guests who attended the event there was even summer funfair rides, bouncy slide and bungee trampolines, and a few of Loch Lomond Shores’ regular buskers joining in making it a truly superb family day out.
A BGCP spokesperson said: “Thank you to everyone who visited at Loch Lomond this weekend.
“We look forward to seeing you again. Loch Lomond CominCon will return in 2023.”
BGCP will be running weekly comic and toy markets markets elsewhere.
