A WEST of Scotland MSP has congratulated a Balloch shop owner in the Scottish Parliament after he won a national award.
Pam Gosal, Scottish Conservative West Scotland MSP, recently put forward a motion praising Andrew Howell, of Loch Lomond News.
The Reporter recently told how Mr Howell won the 2023 Federation of Independent Retailers (The Fed) Award for Collectables Retailer of the Year. The shop stocks a range of collectables, including trading cards and football stickers, and sells them both in-store and online.
Ms Gosal called on Parliament to join her in congratulating Mr Howell and commend The Fed’s support.
The motion gained support from 13 MSP, including Scottish Conservatives leader Douglas Ross.
The Fed (Federation of Independent Retailers) is a not-for-profit organisation with more than 10,000 members throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.
