A SUSPECTED drug dealer has been arrested in Alexandria after drugs were reportedly found in his car.
West Dunbartonshire Police say the 25-year-old was stopped on Main Street and charged with being in possession of class A drugs with intent to supply them to others.
Police reportedly recovered drugs, money and a mobile phone during the search.
The man is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on a future date in connection with the alleged offences.
A spokesperson from Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Police said: "Drugs and drugs-related crime have a huge negative impact on our communities.
"This proactive work disrupts the supply chain and sends a strong message that we will continue to target those involved."
