A DUMBARTON amateur drama group is set to return to the stage with another comedy in May.
Following hot on the heels of Dumbarton People’s Theatre’s successful recent production of The Thirty-Nine Steps, the group will present Ladies’ Day at the Denny Civic Theatre from May 3-6.
Written by Amanda Whittington, Ladies’ Day is an award winning show about the adventures of four fish factory workers – Jan, Pearl, Linda and Shelley – who ditch their overalls and wellies and go for a day out at the races for a drink, a flirt and a flutter.
