A pub in Balloch has been named among the winners of the National Pub & Bar Awards 2023.
A total of 94 venues have been recognised in the annual event as the best in their respective counties.
The awards aim to highlight the positive and inspiring work being carried out across the UK’s hospitality industry.
The Tullie Inn on Balloch Road is among the 12 south-west Scotland winners in the 2023 National Pub & Bar Awards.
Although the venue has a 3.5 rating on TripAdvisor, people highly rate the food and service in their reviews.
One person said: "Stopped in here for some dinner and had a starter and main and it was very good and very tasty.
"Food was nice and fresh and couldn’t find any fault with any of the four dishes we had between us. Service was also very good so all in all a very enjoyable stop.
"I would 100% return to this venue and set again."
And another added: "The Tullie is fairly local to us and despite the choice available locally too, the Tullie is (unlike other some local places) reliably open every day with welcoming staff and comfortable surroundings.
"Very handy for us as it’s next to Balloch train station. We drop in all times of day, for food, for drinks. Highly recommended The Tullie."
Entries for the awards opened at the start of the year and the ceremony will take place in London on June 28.
