AN appeal has been launched to trace the owners of two animals after they were discovered in West Dunbartonshire.
The first is a male Syrian hamster that was found in Alexandria on Thursday, April 13.
He is reported to be well-handled and is now in the care of the Scottish SPCA's Dunbartonshire Centre.
The second is a female ferret that was discovered on Argyll Avenue in Dumbarton on Saturday, April 15.
She is also now in the care of the Dunbartonshire Centre.
Anyone who recognises either of the animals or has any information on them is being urged to call 03000 999 999.
