People in Dumbarton are invited to Loch Lomond to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III next weekend.
Loch Lomond Shores have planned a huge range of activities to celebrate the coronation from Saturday, May 6 until Monday, May 8 which include live entertainment, markets - and a traditional cream tea.
Throughout the weekend, Café Zest will be serving a delicious cream tea that visitors can enjoy before heading to our mall to get some selfies on our royal thrones.
The event will also have face painters and children’s rides all weekend as well as Disney Princesses making regular appearances throughout each day.
On Sunday and Monday, there will be an outdoor market from 10am to 5pm with a whole range of artisan products as well as street food which can be eaten on the go.
Buskers will bring live music to the site throughout, while on Sunday afternoon The McAndrews sisters are set to make an appearance, with a live performance as well as Boogie Box Jive dance group who will be performing early afternoon.
On Monday afternoon, they will also have a stilt-walking royal guard strolling around the site.
Audrey Calder said: "This weekend will be a fun celebration of King Charles III’s Coronation and we’re looking forward to getting festive and getting the bunting up!
"We recognise that many people will want to enjoy the Coronation itself on Saturday so, while there will still be things to do and see – especially for families - our main focus has been on creating a real party atmosphere on Sunday and Monday while people enjoy the long weekend.”
