Dog lovers are being invited to bring their four-legged friends to Loch Lomond Shores this weekend.
The free Top Dog event returns to the bonnie banks on Saturday, May 20 and will feature all things pup-friendly between 10am and 5pm.
As well as lots of doggy products on sale at the on-offer market stalls – everything from doggy fashion to pupcakes – they’ll also be a companion dog show for owners to enter their furry family members.
Categories for the show – which is £3 to enter and £1.50 to add another category - include puppy, veteran, sporting, non-sporting, most handsome dog, prettiest bitch, best condition, best mover, best rescue, best crossbreed, and an open category for all dogs.
Judging the dogs will be notable Crufts judge Deborah Flemming of Townhead Farm.
Audrey Calder from Loch Lomond Shores is delighted to showcase the visitor attraction’s dog-friendly status: “This event is great fun and it’s a real treat to welcome such a range of gorgeous dogs to Loch Lomond Shores.
“Many of our stores including Sports Direct, Frasers, Catherine Kinloch and Hawkshead welcome well-behaved dogs in-store and Café Zest even has a dedicated dog-friendly area within their café so visitors can enjoy time indoors as well as outdoors with their pets.
“Jurassic Ice, on our first floor, also allows well-behaved dogs onto their balcony so you can enjoy a sweet treat, snack or drink while enjoying the views and taking a breather from the fun.”
