We're taking a look back at what was happening across West Dunbartonshire this time 10 years ago.
We delved into the Reporter's archives from Tuesday, June 8, 2013, to find and share some photos from that week's edition of the paper.
Do you recognise anyone or remember these stories?
1. The primary five class at Jamestown Primary were walking by the River Leven as part of a new eco project when they made a discovery. The class found 806 pieces of litter and knew they had to change that.
2. Well-loved Annie Hussey from Renton, celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by family, friends, and the Lord Lieutenant and depute Provost of West Dunbartonshire at her home in Tontine Park.
3. Staff at Chivas Brothers’ Kilmalid site in Dumbarton took part in parent company Pernod Ricard’s global day of action on responsible drinking — Responsib’ALL Day — to learn about how long it takes alcohol to leave the body after a night out.
4. A youth charity's inaugural Walk and Water Challenge raised £2,000. All the cash raised went towards Tullochan's work with young people across Dumbarton, the Vale and Clydebank.
5. Young people from St Patrick’s Church benefitted from cash raised by the area’s school children. Father Anthony Gallagher from the Dumbarton church visited Our Lady and St Patrick’s (OLSP) High School to be presented with a cheque for £255.85.
6. A charity car wash held by hard-working firefighters at Balloch Fire Station has raised £600 for the Robin House.
