HOMES across Alexandria may be left without water today due to a burst pipe.
Engineers at Scottish Water are currently repairing a burst water pipe which is interrupting the water supply in the area.
It is estimated that the full repair will take around four hours and is expected that the supply will gradually return to normal once completed.
During this period people in the area are being warned that they may experience no water supply, low/intermittent pressure or possibly discoloured water.
Scottish Water confirmed that they do not expect to provide bottled water at this time.
A further update will be provided at around 3pm.
Repairs now under way in #G83 #Alexandria - Apologies for any disruption this might be causing. https://t.co/Wztb1SLHds
