Residents in Old Kilpatrick have been left outraged after roadworks have left no buses running through the village.
It is understood that there are roadworks which have closed a large part of Dumbarton Road from today (July 3).
It means that bus services to and from Old Kilpatrick throughout the day have been diverted via the A82 for three weeks.
First Bus Glasgow has confirmed on Twitter that no shuttle buses will be running during the roadworks from 7am until 5pm every day.

Now residents and small businesses have been left outraged over the lack of transport.
One person wrote: "I have woke up to my street being closed off. I have had no notice of this, other than a sign saying the road will be closed for three weeks.
"The sign is positioned beyond my street which indicates the closure shouldn't affect me. So why is my street closed and how am I supposed to get my car out to get to work?"
Another added: "No shuttle bus being put in place is going to have an impact on many people. This is a vital link for residents, many of who are elderly and rely on a bus service. It’s not as if this is an overnight or one day closure. It’s for three weeks."
And a third person wrote: "That's awful. There are elderly people, kids and non-drivers who rely on bus services. What are they supposed to do? I've just been onto Wes Dunbartonshire Council and awaiting word back.
"This is totally unacceptable. They have literally cut off a vital lifeline service to residents."
West Dunbartonshire Council and First Bus have been approached for comment.
