A PET parrot who went missing from Dumbarton earlier this week has sparked an urgent appeal.
Congo, an African Grey parrot escaped from its home in Bellsmyre at around 2.30pm on Monday (July 24). She is grey with a bright red tail.
Following her disappearance she was last seen in Dumbarton cemetery the following day at around 3.30pm.
Her owners Emma Scullion and partner Steven are urging local residents to look out for her.
Emma said: "We are so worried about her as she has now been 48 hours without food and water. She was hand reared so has never had to fend for herself."
