PARENTS across West Dunbartonshire are being invited to attend weekly breastfeeding support groups.
The sessions provide support and information to ante-natal and post-natal women and their families.
It is hoped they will also offer parents extra help with breastfeeding in addition to the support offered by midwifery and health visiting teams.
Where are the groups being held?
- Dalmuir Library - Every Friday between 10.30am and 12pm.
- Dumbarton Library - Every Tuesday between 1.15pm and 3pm.
Families will be able to access information, support, and encouragement as well as meet other breastfeeding parents in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
The service can be accessed via West Dunbartonshire Health & Social Care Partnership's Midwifery and Health Visiting Teams.
Alternatively, it can be accessed through parents directly.
Breastfeeding groups take place at Dumbarton Library on Tuesdays afternoons, Clydebank Library on Thursday afternoons. Join us if you are breastfeeding or pregnant. More info from your midwife or HV #breastfeeding #babyfriendlyhttps://t.co/JSZRnnosbZ
