A "first of its kind" showhome has been launched at a new housing development in Dumbarton.
Miller Homes has revealed its latest four-bedroom Oakwood showhome at the Garshake Gardens - on the site of the former HQ of West Dunbartonshire Council.
We previously told how the development will comprise three and four-bedroom homes in a mix of terraced, detached and semi-detached styles.
Interior designer Eileen Kesson, of ENVISION, has centred the design of the elegant showhome around Porcelanosa’s Brindisi tiles, a classic marble style with delicate gold veining, resulting in a stunning colour palette throughout.
Taking a mix of classic contemporary elements, including bold statement light fixtures and oversized mirrors, and pairing them with sophisticated soft furnishings in earthy tones makes this home a calming oasis.
Downstairs boasts a beautiful open-plan kitchen/dining family space that exudes luxury. The sleek matte charcoal kitchen and antique gold metalware are new design features that have been included in the room.
The laundry room pairs perfectly with the kitchen design and showcases the home's versatility.
A home office is also on the ground floor, ideal for hybrid working.
The lounge is a stand-out feature room within this showhome with its gorgeous square bay window and dual aspect design, brightening the room with plenty of natural light.
The clever use of an asymmetric walnut-panelled media wall catches the eye, and butterscotch curtains add a beautiful balance to the cream sofas.
Upstairs, the principal bedroom has been decorated with delicate soft gold wallpaper, modern hanging bedside lights, and a glimmer of shimmer in the en-suite tiling, creating a calming space to unwind.
Bedrooms two and three are unique in their own way, featuring bold abstract wallpapers and opulent textures to complete this luxe look.
Growing families can be inspired by the adorable nursery, where the playful use of animal outlines on the wallpaper, an on-trend boucle chair, and simple yet practical storage solutions creates a peaceful ambience for any little one.
The new development is located a short distance from Dumbarton’s town centre and central train station and, just minutes from the A82, it offers easy access to Glasgow’s city centre and West End.
It comes after the “enormous success” of the completed Braidfields development and the Millerbank development which launched in Clydebank earlier this year.
