2. Graham stepped up to Dumbarton's High Street fight
A Dumbarton businessman called for shops, residents and the council to join together to help reinvigorate the town centre.

3. Veterans helped ex-soldiers find a new future in the Vale
Military veterans Gary McLaughlin (left) and Paul Muir (right), who ran a Vale-based private security firm, used their own experience to find work and training for other ex-service personnel.
4. Children invited to get active at the Meadow Centre
The Meadow Centre was transformed into a fun factory as children were invited to take part in summer activities.
There were bouncy castles, races and team activities for children from across the area. The sessions were organised by West Dunbartonshire Leisure and Sportscotland’s Active Schools initiative.

A group of friends from Dumbarton raised £1,500 for Cancer Support Scotland after taking part in the Big Fun Run at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow.
