A MAN is accused of committing more than 20 crimes in a two-month spate in the Vale.
The 40-year-old is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court today accused of various car crimes in Bonhill and Alexandria.
Local police officers arrested the man yesterday (August 2) for alleged acquisitive car crime between June and August this year.
He is allegedly charged with 25 separate offences.
Police Scotland has confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing.
A spokesperson from Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Police said: "Effective policing isn't just about enforcement. It's about working in and with our communities to identify and solve problems.
"Our investigation is ongoing, but we want to thank you for responding to our appeal, which assisted us in making this arrest."
