1. Talented team of Highland Dancers entertained crowds in Loch Lomond
A team of talented young Highland dancers kept the Great Scottish Swim crowds entertained. The colourful group, from Sandra Lees School of Dance in Jamestown, delighted the thousands of visitors to Loch Lomond Shores.
2. A Balloch children's hospice congratulates the Maids
Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) sent its congratulations to the “Maids of the Loch” swimmers after they raised nearly £7,000 by swimming 24 miles in Loch Lomond.
The six-strong team of Emma Cummings, Lesley Serpell, Linda Wilson, Morag Scott, Mary Connolly and Maria Dye swam from Ardlui to Balloch without wet suits.
3. A special report of a first look inside the new Dumbarton Academy
The new Dumbarton Academy building is a school pupils, staff and parents can be proud of, according to its head teacher.
The £15.5 million facilities included a fitness trail, 57 state-of-the-art classrooms, three floodlit sports pitches, and a ‘Walk of Life’ timeline, and had been described as a school to be envied.
4. Former Prime Minister visited the Bonnie Banks
Former Prime Minister David Cameron dropped in on the Bonnie Banks while en route to his holiday in Jura. Mr Cameron attended a Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party reception at the Lodge on the Loch Hotel in Luss.
5. Crowds bounce to bumper gala in Bellsmyre
Over 200 people turned out for the event which inspired organisers at the Bellsmyre Development Trust to make the 2014 gala bigger and better.
Attractions included an inflatable obstacle course, flower arranging, and face-painting alongside the usual array of performances, stalls, and tasty treats.
6. Brides-to-be descended to Loch Lomond to get inspired
Brides-to-be descended on the Bonnie Banks as they attended the Loch Lomond Wedding show.
Excited ladies, and the occasional gent, travelled from all over the country and were inspired by an array of wedding ideas from flowers and cars to bridal make-up at the Duck Bay Marina Hotel.
