TWO historic landmarks in Dumbarton have a starring role in a new advert which celebrates a classic Scottish phrase.
Both Dumbarton FC and Dumbarton Rock feature in Tennent's Lager new advert which has been soundtracked by Glasgow pop icon Lulu’s iconic song Shout.
The new campaign celebrates the truly Scottish phrase that is used in good, bad, and surprising situations.
Meanwhile, the advert itself features cameos from Scottish sporting stars; football legend James McFadden and women’s national rugby team captain Rachel Malcolm.
Paul Menzies, C&C’s Brand and Marketing Director (Beer), said: “‘Oooft’ is a word used for pretty much everything in Scotland. So we thought we’d have some fun with it.
“Amongst the wide variety of ‘Ooofts’ in the ad - from cracking goals, to questionable fashion choices - we wanted to show that Tennent’s offers the very best OOOFT possible and one that’s uniquely ours.
“We’re made with soft Highland water, the best Scottish barley, and always brewed in Scotland for a cracking pint every time. We’re ready to tell that story with confidence, and OOOFT heroes that first satisfying sip of a cold, crisp and fresh Tennent’s.”
