A SNAKE was discovered near a Dumbarton train station recently.
The reptile was found on Glasgow Road near Dumbarton East on Saturday, September 9.
The Scottish SPCA (SSPCA) is now appealing to trace its owners.
It is currently in the care of the animal charity's Dunbartonshire centre.
Anyone who recognises the snake is urged to contact the SSPCA on 03000 999 999.
