A leading homebuilder is inviting Dumbarton's food banks, local sports groups and charities to apply for a share of a £10,000 community fund.
Miller Homes wants initiatives across the area to get involved in the second round of its 2023 funding programme with the aim of helping them for the winter months ahead.
Launched in September 2022, the community fund was set up by Miller Homes in a bid to help good causes near its developments, such as Garshake Gardens.
So far, it has helped 36 groups across Scotland equating to £20,000 in funding which has been used by food banks to buy supplies and sports clubs with new equipment.
And Louise Caldwell, sales director for Miller Homes Scotland West, urged Dumbarton groups to apply.
She said: "We're encouraging those in Dumbarton who are already making a valuable contribution to apply to the Community Fund so that we can help support them in making a difference to the communities in which we are building."
Each of Miller Homes' 10 regional offices across the UK has its own £10,000 fund to support community initiatives each year.
Applications for Community Fund will close on Wednesday, October 25, with a minimum of £250 and a maximum of £2,000 awarded.
Successful applicants will be notified in November.
