POLICE are looking for two men after a man was seriously assaulted in Balloch.
The 63-year-old was attacked in Drumkinnon Woods around 2pm on Saturday, September 9.
He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where the Reporter understands he remains.
Officers are keen to trace a man aged between 30-40 and described as being stocky in build.
He was wearing a fishing-style hat and was in the company of a young male wearing a similar-style hat.
Both males were fishing.
Detective Constable Nic Neeson of CID Clydebank said: “We are keen to trace the man described and the young male he was with.
"I also appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed this incident to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 2894 of September 19, 2023."
