THIRTEEN drivers were stopped for road offences on Dumbarton's roads today.
The area's road police detected multiple offences across the community from the use of mobile phones whilst driving to skipping a red light.
Stopped by the force's early shift, the officers found two motorists were using their mobile phones whilst driving, two were carrying more than the permitted weight allowance, four were stopped for speeding and one driver ran a red light.
On a busy morning, a further driver was spoken to for their vehicle being in a dangerous condition, two had tyre offences and one vehicle was prohibited from taking back to the road.
