A LOCH LOMOND fire station will welcome the main man himself when Santa Claus heads to town.
Balloch Community Fire Station will host a Santa Drive Thru on Sunday, December 17 with locals encouraged to get along and meet Saint Nick and his elves as part of some festive fun.
The idea of the event is to encourage the community to get out this festive season and for the area's children to experience Santa and the fire station lit up in Christmas colours - all from the comfort of their parent's car.
And firefighter Stuart Thomson explained they are hoping natives will donate some goodies to them so they can put on the perfect afternoon.
He said: "As well as the event, we are also looking for anyone who has unused Christmas decorations or is willing to donate selection boxes.
"This can be done by drop off when we are at the station, on our drill night which is every Tuesday from 18:30-21:30."
The Santa Drive Thru will run between 4 pm and 7 pm with all funds raised going to the Firefighters Charity.
Marshalling will be in place to allow ease of cars to drive through the station and safely exit.
