Dumbarton and the Vale’s MSP paid her annual visit to an Alexandria mail sorting office to see first-hand the efforts that go into delivery Christmas post.
Jackie Baillie met with workers at the Royal Mail site in Alexandria to pass on her best wishes for the busy period ahead.
At this time of year, the Royal Mail is busier than ever, with a vast amount of effort going into delivering cards, letters and parcels to millions.
And the deputy leader of Scottish Labour chatted with the dedicated posties who are giving their all to organise and deliver mail across the local area throughout the festive season.
Ms Baillie said: “It is hard to find posties more hardworking than those at the Alexandria and Helensburgh sorting offices.
“These posties never fail to put their best foot forward, knowing that the delivery of a first-class Christmas rests heavily on their shoulders.
“Christmas is one of their busiest times of the year and yet they continue to exceed expectations with determination and a positive attitude.
“Thank you to our hardworking posties who consistently exceed expectations and ensure that deliveries are effectively made by Christmas.”
