TWO busy train lines have fully reopened after Storm Gerrit caused travel chaos across West Dunbartonshire yesterday.
ScotRail confirmed that services have now resumed on the route between Dumbarton/Dalmuir and Helensburgh/Balloch following earlier safety checks.

It comes after trains travelling in the region were subject to delays and cancellations as the country experienced heavy rain and snow.

Dumbarton East station was closed for several hours after a tree fell on the line and caught on fire.
Bowling station was also shut due to 'very deep' flooding making it unsafe to run trains through the area.
