THE owners of a popular Dumbarton cafe are set to open a new takeaway next week. 

Victoria and Amy Edwards, the couple behind Roo's Kitchen, announced they will launch Roo's 2 Go on Saturday, January 13. 

The eatery is located on Glasgow Road just around the corner from the cafe.

A statement posted to Facebook reads: "Finally, we have an opening date. Anyone who knows us knows that the 13th holds a special place in our hearts.

"A lot of events have happened on the 13th for us, so it seems fitting that this is when we open our second shop."
