TWO vehicles were taken off Dumbarton roads for driving without insurance over the weekend.
Road police first stopped a blue van in the early hours of Saturday, with the driver issued with a £300 fine and six penalty points.
The van was also seized.
And it was a similar story for the driver of a silver Audi convertible, who was also found to be driving illegally as a result of having no insurance.
Another £300 fine was handed out alongside six penalty points with cops retaining the car.
