A VAN was deliberately set on fire in an area of the Vale at the weekend.
The silver Renault was parked on Ladyton, Bonhill, in the early hours of Saturday morning when it was intentionally set ablaze around 1.30 am.
Thankfully, nobody was injured but police are seeking anyone who may have private video cameras to help them with their enquiries.
Detective Constable Thomas O’Donnell, of Clydebank CID said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this reckless act.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who has any information, private CCTV or dash cam footage which could assist us to get in touch.”
