A stretch of a busy road is set to temporarily close next week.
The A82 between the Stoneymollan Roundabout and the Lomondgate Roundabout will shut overnight from Monday, January 29 to Wednesday, January 31.
The closures will be in place from 8pm to 6am each night.
These are to facilitate essential bridge deck investigations.
The work will be carried out by Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland and is set to benefit drivers using the route daily.
Teams will determine the condition of the bridge structure which is hoped to aid the development of the upcoming bridge refurbishment scheme.
Diversions will be in place.
Diversion routes:
Monday, January 29
- Northbound traffic will be directed to exit the A82 at Lomondgate roundabout and follow the A813 to the A811 where they will reach Stoneymollan roundabout and be able to re-join the A82.
- There will be no access to the A82 northbound off-slip towards Renton.
Tuesday, January 30
- Southbound traffic will follow the above diversion but in reverse.
- The A82 southbound on-slip from Renton will remain open.
Emergency service vehicle access will be maintained.
It is noted that all works are weather-dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled.
